When can I expect CAL Comedy Underground shows to happen?

SLO Comedy Underground: 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month

Paso Comedy Night: 1st Saturday of every month

Torrance Comedy Underground: A chosen Friday or Saturday each month

What can I expect at a show?

An awesome night of live comedy at a venue with fantastic food and drink options.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, however they are more expensive (usually $15 instead of $10), so we recommend you buy online. Tickets remain on sale online until an hour before the show.

Do your shows have any age restrictions?

Age restrictions usually depend on the venue and should be included on the event overview page. If it is not, contact us and we'll give you a straight answer. Most of our shows are rated 16+, if you or someone you know is outside that range and wants to attend a show, just reach out to us and we'll work something out.

I know or run a venue I think would be interested in having a Cal Comedy Underground show. What should I do?

We are currently looking to expand our operation! Please contact us through the contact page or our instagram @calcomedyunderground and we will get in touch as soon as possible.

I'm interested in holding a comedy show at my private event, can you help me out?

Yes, we would be happy to. We can provide the perfect show package for your budget. Reach out to us via the contact page and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

I'm a comedian and I would like to perform on your shows, what should I do?

You can reach out through our instagram @calcomedyunderground if you like but our preference is send us an email at slocomedyunderground@gmail.com. In your email/message please include the following:

• Name

• Credits

• Spots you are interested in (Headliner, Feature, Opener, etc.)

• Shows you are interested in (SLO County, Torrance, any, etc.)

• A tape, for headliners we expect at least 15-20 minutes, anyone else, at least 5-10. 

We get hundreds of these messages though so if we don't respond, it's not personal.
